Notes:
Diane Lim of Norcross, Ga., earned medalist honors and the first of five spots into the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship after posting a 2-over-par 74 at an 18-hole qualifier at Cartersville Country Club. Annie Swords of Newnan, Ga., and Megan Carter of Blackshear, Ga., tied at 3-over-par 75 and also earned berths into the Championship.

Five players (Savanah Goodman of Easley, S.C.; Rinko Mitsunaga of Roswell, Ga.; Bailey Tardy of Norcross, Ga.; Abbey Williams of Marietta, Ga.; Payton Schanen of Alpharetta, Ga.) finished the qualifier tied at 4-over-par 76, so a playoff was needed to determine the final two automatic spots into the Championship and the first and second alternate positions. With a par on the first playoff hole, Tardy, the reigning Georgia Girls' champion, clinched the fourth spot into the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship. Mitsunaga, the Georgia Girls' runner-up, birdied the second playoff hole to claim the fifth and final spot into the Championship.

Schanen and Goodman finish as first and second alternate, respectively.

Severe weather hovered over Cartersville Country Club in the early afternoon on Monday to force a delay of one hour and 47 minutes.

Cartersville Country Club was set to 6,306 yards and a par of 72. A field of 42 players competed in the qualifying round.
