Notes:
Katy Funk of Spartanburg, S.C., and Ally McDonald of Fulton, Miss., earn medalist honors after posting 2-under-par 70 scores to claim automatic berths into the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship at a qualifier at Dalton Golf and Country Club. Funk is set to begin her collegiate career at Wofford University this fall, while McDonald currently tees it up with Mississippi State University.

Joining the medalists in the national championship include Lauren Stephenson of Lexington, S.C., (1-under-par 71), Lori Beth Adams of Burlington, N.C., (even-par 72), Laura Wearn of Charlotte, N.C., (1-over-par 73), Jordan Britt of Chattanooga, Tenn., (1-over-par 73) and McKenzie Talbert of North Augusta, S.C., (1-over-par 73).

Four players tied at 2-over-par 74 after the 18 hole of regulation, so a playoff was needed to settle the final two automatic spots in the Championship and the first and second alternate positions. Georgian Sloan Shanahan of Suwanee, Cammie Gray of Northport, Ala., Sarah Harris of Hermitage, Tenn., and Melissa Siviter of England returned to the ninth hole to start the playoff.

With a double-bogey on the first playoff hole (No. 9), Gray finished as second alternate. Siviter and Shanahan birdied and made par on the second playoff hole (No. 10) to clinch the final two spots into the Championship. Harris double-bogeyed the second playoff hole to finish as first alternate.

Dalton Golf and Country Club played to 6,439 yards and a par 72.
