Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, Ga. (6,429 yards, par 72), hosted an 18-hole qualifier to determine six spots into the 2008 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship. Horseshoe Bend is one of 18 sectional qualifying sites which are taking place July 5-17.

The 108th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship will be held at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore., August 4-10. Entries were open to female amateurs who have USGA Handicap Indexes not exceeding 5.4. The U.S. Women's Amateur Championship is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
