Notes:
There was a three-player playoff at 72 for the final two spots to advance to the championship and the first alternate position between Theresa Paik of Silver Spring, Md., Courtney Ellenbogen of Blacksburg, Va. and Chris Brady of Stanley, N.C. Paik quickly recorded birdie on the first playoff hole to capture the first spot and Ellenbogen captured the second and final spot with a par on the third playoff hole. Brady finished with the first alternate position. Amanda Henry of Russell Springs, Ky. recorded par on her second playoff hole to grab the second alternate spot.


Chapel Hills Golf Club was set at 6,381 yards and played as a par-72. Qualifiers advance directly to the championship event. The 106th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship will be held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore., August 7-13. Entries were open to female amateur golfers who have USGA Handicap Indexes not exceeding 5.4. The U.S. Women's Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
