Notes:
Emilie Burger of Hoschton, Ga., a member of the Georgia Bulldog golf team, shot 4-under-par 67 to medal and qualify for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. At last year's qualifier at The Oaks Course, Burger also earned medalist honors by turning in an even-par 71. This year she finished five strokes ahead of Ket Preamchuen of Kennesaw, Ga., a member of Kennesaw State University's golf team, who recorded a 1-over-par 72.

Also earning automatic qualifying spots were collegiate players Torey Johnson of Moore, S.C., (Charleston Southern University) and Jessica Tarbet of Corryton, Tenn., (Carson-Newman College). Johnson finished at 2-over-par 73 and Tarbet came in at 3-over-par 74.

After four players came in with a score of 77, a playoff to determine the two alternate positions was needed. On the second playoff hole, Maria Ronderos of Colombia and current Miami Hurricane made birdie and Kimesha Anthony of Antigua and Barbuda, who plays on Columbus State University's golf team, made par to secure the first and second alternate spots, respectively. The Oaks Course was set to 6,179 yards and a par 71.

Qualifiers advance to the 35th Annual U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship, which will be held at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Ore., June 27-July 2, 2011.
