Notes:
Emilie Burger of Hoschton, Ga., a rising sophomore on the University of Georgia golf team, earned medalist honors with an even-par 71. She finished two strokes ahead of four players, all of whom earned a spot in the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links field – Karlin Beck of Auburn, Ala., Sara Grantham of Wilsonville, Ala., Dayana Marquez of Atlanta, Ga., and Jessica Tarbet of Corryton, Tenn.

 

Kaitlin Matheson of Easley, S.C., was named first alternate after coming in with a 74. Lucia Fernandez-Valdes of Jacksonville, Ala., was one of four players to turn in a 75, and chipped in for birdie on the third playoff hole to secure the second alternate spot.

 

The Oaks Course was set to 6,179 yards and a par 71.

 

Qualifiers advance to the 34th annual U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship, which will be held at The Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame in Indiana, June 21-26, 2010. Entries were open to women amateur golfers who, since Jan. 1, 2010, have been bona fide public course players and have not held privileges of any course that does not extend playing privileges to the general public, or privileges of any private club maintaining its own course and have a USGA Handicap not exceeding 18.4. The U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
