Notes:
With identical scores of 78, three players competed in a playoff for the final qualifying spot and first and second alternate positions. Earning her ticket into the championship was Sloan Shanahan of Suwanee, Ga., who scored par on the fourth playoff hole. Bailey Tardy of Norcross, Ga., had a bogey on that hole to claim first alternate. Dylan Kim of Statham, Ga., posted double-bogey on the third playoff to fall into the second alternate position.


The River Club was set to 6,205 yards and a par of 72. A field of 39 players competed in the qualifying round.


Qualifiers advance to the 62nd annual U.S. Girls' Junior Championship at The Country Club of North Carolina in Village of Pinehurst, N.C., July 19-24, 2010. Entries were open to female amateur golfers who will not have reached their 18th birthday on or before July 24, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 18.4. The U.S. Girls' Junior is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
