Notes:

In-Kyung Kim of Hilton Head, S.C. fired a score of 31 on the back nine to finish with a 67 on the day and take home medalist honors. Kim had just one bogey on the day, coming on the par-five number 7, and tallied six birdies, five of which came on the back nine. Kim has now qualified for two USGA Championship events in as many days having also qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at Chapel Hills Golf Club in Douglasville on June 27.


A total of 20 competitors competed at Braelinn Golf Club for five qualifying spots. It was one of 32 sectional qualifiers taking place across the country to determine the 144-player field.


The par-72 layout at Braelinn was set to 6,234 yards.


The 2005 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship will be held at BanBury Golf Club in Eagle, Idaho, July 18-23. Entries were open to female amateur golfers who will not have reached their 18th birthday on or before July 23, and who have a USGA handicap not exceeding 18.4. The U.S. Girls' Junior is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
