Qualifiers advance to the 2003 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Conn. July 21-26. Entries were open to female amateur golfers who will not have reached their 18th birthday on or before July 26, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 18.4.

Hardy, 14, defeated Shirley, 17, in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff. Hardy won with a two-putt par on number 10, after Shirley failed to get up and down. Donald secured the second alternate position with par on 10. Smith bogeyed.
