Qualifiers advance to the 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, to be held at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Ca. July 19-24. Entries were open to male golfers who will not have reached their 18th birthday on or before July 24, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 6.4.

Blue, Silvers, Hocker and Green went four holes in a playoff to determine the last three qualifying spots and first alternate. Nobles and Henley held a two-hole playoff to determine order for the second and third alternate spots. English was not present for the playoff, thus accepting the fourth alternate position.

Cartersville Country Club, a par-72 layout, played to 6,904 yards. Play was completed Tuesday morning due to rain delays on Monday.
