The 29th U.S. Open Championship will be held at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., July 31-August 3. Entries were open to any professional, or any amateur with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 3.4, who turns 50 on or before July 31. The U.S. Open is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
