Notes:
Qualifiers advance to the 2004 U.S. Senior Open Championship will be held at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Mo., July 29 - August 1. Entries were open to any professional, or to any amateur with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 3.4, who turns 50 on or before July 29.

Rivermont Golf & Country Club, a par-72 layout, played to 6,767 yards. Play was delayed for one hour midday due to rain.

Wolff, a former Georgia Section, PGA Player of the Year and member of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, will participate in his first U.S. Senior Open.

With par on the first playoff hole, Kirkendall defeated Marsh, an amateur playing on his home course, for the final qualifying spot. Another amateur, Hunter, won the second alternate spot over Corliss with a par on their first playoff hole. Flanagan, who also shot 72, was present but did not participate in the playoff, thus accepting the fourth alternate position.
