Qualifiers advance to the 48th annual USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship, which will be held at The Homestead (Cascades Course) in Hot Springs, Va., September 12-17. Entries were open to female amateur golfers who will have reached their 50th birthday on or before Sept. 12, 2009 and have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 18.4. The USGA Senior Women's Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
