Notes:
There was a three-woman playoff between Katelyn Stanier of Newnan, Georgia, Ashli Bunch of Morristown, Tennessee and Sarah Sturm of Spartanburg, South Carolina to determine the order of the top three alternate positions. On the first playoff hole, Stanier sank a putt for birdie to capture the first alternate position. Bunch converted her par to take the second alternate spot and Sturm posted bogey on the hole to finish as the third alternate.

 

There was also a playoff for the fourth alternate positions played between Jean Reynolds of Newnan, Georgia, Adriane Barnett of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Mariana Macias Capuzzi of Auburn, Alabama. Capuzzi birdied the first playoff hole to secure the fourth alternate spot.

 

The course was set to 6,417 yards and played as a par-72. Qualifiers advance to the Sectional Qualifying Round, which consists of 36 holes of stroke play at one of seven locations around the country, being played June 11. The 62nd annual U.S. Women's Open Championship will be held at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C., June 28 – July 1. Entries were open to any female professional and to female amateurs with USGA Handicap Indexes not exceeding 4.4. The U.S. Women's Open is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
