Qualifiers advance to the 2004 USGA Senior Amateur Championship, to be held at Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif., October 9-14. Entries were open to male amateur golfers who have reached their 55th birthday on or before October 9, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 7.4. The USGA Senior Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
