Rivermont Golf and Country Club hosted the first of two U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur qualifiers in Georgia. The second takes place August 26 at The Landings Club in Savannah.

The 21st U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship will be held at Desert Forest Golf Club in Carefree, Ariz., September 29-October 4. Entries were open to female amateur golfers who have reached their 25th birthday by September 29, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 9.4. The U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
