Notes:
It may have taken an extra day, but the 36-hole qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship is now complete. Steven Fisk of Stockbridge, Ga., who has committed to play college golf at Georgia Southern University, earned medalist honors with his 4-under-par 138 (69-69). Spencer Ralston of Gainesville, Ga., who plans to play at the University of Georgia, also qualified at 3-under-par 139 (69-70). Bryson Nimmer of Bluffton, S.C., and Luukas Alakulppi of Valdosta, Ga., earned the last two qualifying spots into the national championship.
Georgians Will Chandler of Alpharetta (72-73) and Ryan Stachler of Atlanta (75-70) tied at 3-over-par 145. Stachler was not present at the start of the playoff, so Chandler received the first alternate spot and Stachler the second.
Due to severe weather in the area, the afternoon round of the 36-hole qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur was postponed on Monday. Play resumed Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. at University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens.
UGA Golf Course played to 7,025 yards and a par 71.
