Notes:

Bailey Tardy of Norcross, winner of the 2013 Georgia Girls' Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club, earned medalist honors after posting a 5-under-par 66 to qualify for the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.


Joining Tardy as one of 11 qualifiers included reigning USGA Women's Amateur Four-Ball champion and Georgia Women's Match Play champion Rinko Mitsunaga of Roswell, who finished at 3-under-par 68. Katy Harris of St. Simons Island and Rachel Dai of Milton each posted 2-under-par 69 scores. Three players came in at 1-under-par 70, including Teresa Caballer Hernani of Spain, Amanda Doherty of Atlanta and Cammie Gray of Northport, Ala. Hannah Wood of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Samantha Griffith of Ooltewah, Tenn., and Emmy Martin of Odessa, Fla., tied for eighth at even-par 71.


Five players finished at 1-over-par 72, so a playoff was needed to determine the final qualifying spot and two alternate positions. Payton Schanen of Milton, Elise Bradley of Mandeville, La., Sydney Needham of Villa Rica, Emilie Meason of Atlanta and Janet Mao of Johns Creek were part of the playoff which began on the first hole. After making birdie, Meason clinched the final qualifying spot. After the second playoff hole, Mao made birdie to finish as first alternate. After a total of five playoff holes, Bradley secured the second alternate spot.


The 115th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship will be held at Portland Golf Club in Portland, Ore., August 10-16, 2015. Entries were open to female amateurs with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 5.4. The U.S. Women's Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
