Notes:
Six players tied at 2-under-par 70 to share medalist honors and each earned a spot at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship after a qualifier was held at St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek. Georgian Rinko Mitsunaga of Roswell, Mimi Chen of Longwood, Fla., Anita Uwadia of Nigeria, Ashley Holder of Orlando, Fla., Georgian Janet Mao of Johns Creek and Riley Rennell of Columbia, Tenn., advance to the national championship.


The next six players on the final leaderboard finished at 1-under-par 71, including Georgian Ivy Shepherd of Peachtree City, Georgian Isabella Skinner of Buford, Hailee Cooper of Montgomery, Texas, Maria Torres of Puerto Rico, Elizabeth Wang of San Marino, Calif., and Taylor Tomlinson of Gainesville, Fla. These players returned to the course for extra holes to decide the final three qualifying spots and two alternate positions.


After the first playoff hole, Torres made eagle from a bunker and Cooper made birdie to earn two of the three qualifying spots up for grabs. Skinner, Tomlinson and Shepherd each made par, while Wang made bogey for elimination. On the second extra hole, Skinner and Tomlinson each made par, and Shepherd made bogey to finish as second alternate.


Down to two for the final qualifying spot and first alternate position, Skinner and Tomlinson both made par on the third extra hole. On the fourth extra hole, Tomlinson made birdie to clinch the final qualifying spot. Skinner finished as first alternate.


The 116th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship will be held at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa., August 1-7. Entries were open to female amateur golfers with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 5.4. The U.S. Women's Amateur Championship is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
