Note: Entrants in all GSGA competitions must have their USGA Handicap Indexes issued by a GSGA member club. Entrants in the Amateur Championship, Mid-Amateur Championship, Junior Championship and Girls' Championship must also be residents of the state of Georgia.

Women's & Senior Women's Match Play
Championship
  • Entries: Open to female amateur golfers in two separate divisions - Championship and Senior Women's Championship (for those players age 50 and older as of the first day of competition).
  • Field: maximum field size of 84 players - low 42 players chosen by handicap index for Women's Match Play Championship qualifying and 42 players for the Senior Women's Match Play Championship qualifying; if a division doesn't fill, more players may be added to the other division for stroke play qualifying and additional match play flights.
  • Format: 36 holes of stroke play qualifying followed by match play in each division; the Championship will consist of a Championship Bracket of 16 players and a Tournament Bracket of 16 players; the Senior Women's Championship will consist of a Championship Bracket of eight players and subsequent Tournament Brackets with eight players each.

  • Entries: Open to male amateur golfers between the ages of 14 and 18. A competitor must be at least 14 years old as of the first day of the tournament and not be 19 as of the last day of the tournament.

  • Field: 60-80 teams - players may elect to compete in the Championship Gross division or the Net division; up to 10 teams will comprise the Championship division.
  • Format: Round One - 18 holes of four-ball gross stroke play for Championship flight and four-ball net stroke play for remaining flights; Round two: scramble format; Championship flight will compete from separate set of longer tees than the flighted division.

  • Field: 96 teams - 48 teams based on low team index comprise the Championship flight; remaining Senior division teams drawn by lottery (1 exempt spot held for each host club; 4 exempt spots held for flight winners; low 24 teams (subject to change) by handicap index comprise the Super Senior Four-Ball Championship flight; both players must be at least 65 years or older as of the first day of the competition.
