This 18-hole qualifier is one of approximately 53 sectional qualifiers being held across the country between August 10 and 23 and one of two qualifiers being held in the state of Georgia. At The Farm, there were 144 players vying for the seven qualifying spots into the championship field of 156 players.

The 2005 USGA Senior Amateur Championship will be held at The Farm Golf Club in Rocky Face, Ga., September 17-22. Entries were open to amateur golfers who will have reached their 55th birthday by September 17, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 7.4. The USGA Senior Amateur Championship is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
