Scholars Luncheon
The GSGA Foundation hosts a Scholars Luncheon each year. This special event, sponsored by BMW of North America, Inc., is held to celebrate the GSGAF’s Yates Scholarship and Moncrief Scholarship Programs. This gathering brings together new and current Yates and Moncrief Scholars, their families and friends, club personnel, special donors and Foundation and GSGA representatives to share and honor the outstanding accomplishments of these talented students.
At the annual luncheon, the GSGAF recognizes all incoming and renewing scholarship winners for the upcoming school year, as well as recent graduates. The Dick Franklin Performance Awards are also presented each year at the luncheon. These scholarship awards are presented to two deserving Yates Scholars selected as the most outstanding rising junior and the most outstanding rising senior. Recipients receive $3000 in addition to their Yates Scholarship.
The GSGA Foundation is indebted to BMW, whose sponsorship of its annual luncheon has allowed it to increase its commitment of scholarship dollars.
