When you join a GSGA Member Club and establish a USGA Handicap Index, you become a member of the Georgia State Golf Association and are entitled to the following GSGA Member Benefits:

GSGA/GHIN Handicap Service
GSGA Members receive an updated handicap index via e-mail or at their "home" club 24 times a year. Being a GSGA member allows you to post your score wherever you play in Georgia and across the country using the USGA's GHIN System, the largest handicapping service in the world. The GSGA also offers Internet Score Posting (subject to the approval of your home club).

Golf Georgia Magazine
You will receive GSGA's official publication, Golf Georgia, published six times a year and delivered to your home. This award-winning magazine contains information of interest to all golfers, with a focus on amateur golf in Georgia.  Learn more about Golf Georgia and see a sample of the current issue.

GSGA Member Play Days
Enjoy a day on the links with fellow GSGA members! For a low entry fee, enjoy a non-competitive round of golf at one of our GSGA Member Golf Clubs. Check out the upcoming dates and sites.

GSGA Competitions
You may be eligible to compete in some of the 20 competitions that GSGA conducts each year. Events are available for men, women, juniors and seniors, and are held at GSGA Member Clubs around the state from March through November each year.  Additionally, the GSGA Rules & Competitions department can provide answers to Rules of Golf questions or concerns.

Global Golf Post is a weekly digital golf news publication. Every Monday morning, it will bring you not only golf news from around the U.S. and world, but also news from the GSGA.
